AEROBIC DIGESTERS
Enquire NowIntroducing Aerobic Digesters
Aerobic digestion is a biological process that takes place in the presence of oxygen whereby bacteria and micro-organisms consume organic matter and convert it into CO2 and lower molecular weight organic compounds. Traditionally aerobic digestion has been used in sewage treatment to reduce the volume of sewage sludge.
The Harp BioDigester treats other organic waste such as food, agricultural & horticultural biomass, green waste, cardboard, etc., reducing mass and volume by up to 80% in just 24 hours – without creating carbon dioxide, ammonia, or methane emissions, and thus resulting in an innovative, carbon negative, organic waste remediation technology.
