Our Story
Founded on a background in engineering and automation for waste management, Harp Renewables was established to tackle inefficiencies in traditional organic waste treatment, pioneering technologies that turn food waste into valuable, nutrient-rich products.
Over the years, we developed fully circular solutions, combining biological and mechanical innovation to accelerate decomposition, reduce waste, and minimise environmental impact. CEO & Founder
Shane Finnegan, Founder and CEO of Harp Group, leverages over 20 years of engineering and development expertise to drive industry innovation. In 2014, he introduced waterless food waste recyclers featuring proprietary biotechnology, and in 2022, he launched a WiFi Cloud Reporting System to enhance carbon credit management.

With over 20 years in the electrical industry, Paul has been part of the Harp Group team for 15 years. He is a qualified electrician with engineering qualifications in mechanical, electrical and mechatronics from DKIT, DIT and MTU.

Daniel leads the engineering team at Harp Renewables and has a background in engineering design and waste processing. He works closely with clients and his team to deliver cost-effective waste management solutions, supporting projects from CAD design through to site installation.

Vick has over 8 years’ experience in industrial automation and has been part of Harp Group since 2020. He works across PLC, HMI, VSD, SCADA and IoT systems, developing control software and supporting system integration and client operations.
