The RDS Circular Economy Awards, held in collaboration with Trinity Executive Education, celebrates Irish businesses, entrepreneurs and innovators who are making a positive impact in addressing climate change through circular economy principles.
This year, Harp Renewables was proudly selected for the “SME award”, recognising small and medium sized enterprises (SME) for their outstanding contributions and achievements in various fields. Harp Renewables was acknowledged for its innovative bio-digestion technology, which transforms organic waste into nutrient-rich bio-fertiliser within 24 hours.
Innovative Waste solutions for a Sustainable Future
Harp Renewables bio-digesters are renowned for their efficiency and environmental benefits, significantly reducing the volume and weight of waste while producing valuable by-products. The company’s technology is widely used across various sectors, including hospitality, education, healthcare and agriculture, providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional waste disposal methods. Harp Renewables has expanded its operations to the US, Australia and Europe with up to 250 machines operating worldwide. These aerobic biodigesters, are capable of processing up to 5.5 tonnes of organic waste each year, reducing weight and volume by up to 75-85%.
